I'm involved in an uphill emotional battle. Being "strong, independent, focused, yadda yadda"....doesn't come without a price tag. They kinda forget to tell you that in grade school when they tell you to be who you "truly" are, express yourself, "reach for the stars...."

its a different world when you want change. most people don't. i'm feeling rather odd considering the new year and "new slate" everyone thinks they get when the year starts over. But nothing is REALLY clean, nothing is REALLY new, you just lie to yourself so you feel better about the shit you know is just gonna roll over into next year. My family issues aren't going anywhere cuz the calendar changed, my ex still haunts me, my worries stay the same, and then some. The mind is a crazy thing.

The only person i really battle is MYSELF. Everything is such a mind game. I have to continuously talk myself into and out of situations. pump myself up. be my own best friend. trust myself, doubt myself. lie to myself about certain things, and remind myself of my own truths. i have to be balanced and checked and re-booted.

I don't know if its cuz I'm straight pms-ing, if its cuz my muthafuckin tooth hurts and i had to make an emergency trip to the dentist, my disturbing family fone calls, my lack of yoga attendance, the dirty ass glasses im wearing but am too pissed off to wipe clean (like that makes ne thing better) or that wu-tang WON'T be in studio tomorrow thats making my mind race.... but whatever.

Im in a shit mood. and im revelling. tomorrow enough of the shit.

I was just as geeked as the next person to check out the American Gangster film. Not only did Jay get inspired to do his whole concept album after the movie, but Denzel was set to do his thang. I watched the movie via Bootleg a couple weeks early (before the official release date) and listen to the American Gangster Cd the same way..... SOOOOO long story short i'm no one to call on the code of ethics.......buuuuuut, since we do have the right of "free speech" which is often debatable ( Dog the Bounty Hunter ) I just find it amusing that we celebrate the worst in people......

Frank Lucas. If you've seen the movie, and watched this interview then you KNOW that he is indeed, and American Gangster. We even interviewed him on our show, and no lie, i was excited. (We were cut off and kept short on the interview so the opportunity to bring the heat was a little limited) I guess im just disappointed at how this is what we all fiend for.....the baddest of the bad...the ugly of the ugly....i even do a lot on my blog......

when's the last time u saw something good on the news? or heard a nobel peace prize winner on air? ...it just doesn't happen. it doesn't sell. it doesn't turn heads. We celebrate needless socialites, sex tapes, racism, and other wrong things JUST by paying them attention..... im not sure what the solution is, and everyone has to eat, and we HAVE to talk about our truths and whats going on in the world....

i guess just food for thought..... i'm gonna try and clean up my act by balancing it all out.....next feel good story i've got....you got it too.

I've seen the movie, CHOUT OUTZ: Bootleg Kev. NOW i got the album. I'ma be honest, the movie is GOOD, not great. Cool insight into Frank Lucas and his life, CRAZY. The movie isn't TOO hollywood it just pretty much follows the sequence of his life story. I'm listening to the album Jay did in honor of the movie and i won't have a full review until i hear the whole thing.

gotta love Denzel. MOVIE is a cool watch, but doesn't live up to the hype necessarily. Wait until theatres if you want the FULL experience, if you cheat and get in early like i did.......u mite be a little disappointed. I'ma still go to the premiere to get the fill of the audience.

So apparently he pulled this MEAN hater move at a Philadelphia POWERHOUSE concert and decided to diss my boy Kanyeeezy. Apparently, the Kang aka T.I.P was supposed to be there but since he's posted in the pinta, he obviously wasn't able to show. Fithy decided to show up uninvited and dawg Ye. HOWEVER, I don't believe I've ever seen Kanye hit those dance moves, Fithy got kinda male stripper with it. WACK. What's wackest, he's might have a future in exotic dancing since he got the body and now we know he's got the moves. Its only a matter of time since he's cd is wack, that we catch him in a fish net get up with a wig and boxing gloves......and i mean that in the most endearing way, CHOUT OUTZ to Oscar De La Hoya.

I encourage you to go peep the latest edition of XPOZ magazine...the article on myself as deemed "queen of sole" for my sneak collection is in thurrr now.... CHOUT OUTZ: to Walter Krunk-ite, Summer Durand, The Figueroa sisters, and everyone else at XPOZ as well as my mans n em ROOKIE! Unlike most articles, i ACTUALLY LIKE this one....

I think myself and my silent partner in crime have bigger and better on the way... I've got a meeting on the 29th to figure out where Im going to venture in future articles with the mag.....

So0o0o0o0o0o0o VIBE MAGAZINE tried their darndest to do something ill about Lil Weezy. Arguably the illest kat in the game today. With his flow so infecticous, is odd yet appealing look, and the fact that has been in the game 15 years and is only 26 is outrageous. Plus he's got this chick Karrine Steffans aka "don't call me supahead" shouting him out in every way which only makes you more curious about their life "together."

ITS AN INJUSTICE. Maybe you just can't cover all of weezy in a few page spread. 1. No details about supahead. 2. NOT a whole lot of direct quotes from wayne himself. 3. BASICALLY, reiterated what we already knew. 4. the story about how and why he had his daughter had already been leaked via blog so it aint fresh.

THE ISSUE in general is kinda off and the cover pic is a disaster. He's a martian, not a gremlin. help a brutha out and pick a picture where his eyes aren't rolled back and his gums aren't draggin'. I love me some wayne, lawd knows i do but damn.

AND WHO THE FlUCK has been falling asleep while writing "20 Questions" in the back of VIBE? let me ask you 1 question, who's deaf grandma keeps telling you that spit is funny?

I can't wait for these kicks to come out....I've never been a Jordan sneaker-hed simply because I think my man Jordan is scamming us all. I can't seem to wrap my mind around the concept of paying a TON of money to collect the same shoe as the guy or (girl in my case) next to YOU? WHY? The shoes are cool, ((RESPECT)) but I can't keep up with price especially when it doesn't seem there's much bang in the buck. I enjoy UNIQUE individuals. with UNIQUE things. especially chews (c) La.

BUT, ive recently come up on a pair of Jordans that make me eat my words. These kicks defy all laws i've set up for NOT ever becoming a Jordan sneaker fiend. They're so FRESH because of the crisp color selection, the availability which is probably gonna be somewhat limited, and the sole* fact that they're FOR women. Say what you will, you know you're addicted to looking at the magazine cuz you want to know who from around-the-way got caught up looking vicious at the club in those candid photos (from random club nites, hair matted and all )in the back of the magazine! I personally, like to see who's moved onto whom and who's slobbin' up my leftovers. yikes.

It seems to me that becoming a 'blogger' isn't perverted. It just means that you make your own posts about what you deem important via internet, with the added help of text, pic, and basic template. Thanks to recent inspiration chout outz to NAHRIGHT.com , ahitunaandwaffles.blogspot.com , and EVEN this little guy on pampersporvida.blogspot.com, I'm going to pursue my blogging career.

Even though I'm only 22 years old, its a little embarassing when you get outblogged by a baby who's barely coming up on a month old. (Isaiah Miles ;)

This blog will hold all sorts of media about my life, my thoughts, my randomocity and hopefully all the while capture my constant chase for TWO THINGS.
